Simply Natural Dart Frogs Inc. began as a hobby in 1998 and quickly became a passion for these beautiful and addictive frogs. What began as several 20 gallon tanks turned into a spare bedroom full of tanks.
In 1999 we were fortunate to meet Vincent Leckie an exporter of frogs and reptiles in Suriname. We quickly struck up a friendship and discovered a mutual interest in the dart frogs of Suriname. Working out of our house it soon became obvious that a larger facility was needed.
In January of 2003 we moved into our current 2000sq. foot warehouse. It seemed a little large for our needs at the time but we soon managed to fill it up with frogs and vivariums.
On my first trip to Panama in June of 2004 to meet with an exporter I met my beautiful wife, Valentina. She worked at the pet shop the exporter owns and was helping us pack a shipment of pumilio and auratus. She showed a unique interest in the frogs and in me.The rest is history as they say.
Since coming to America in April of 2005 she has worked side by side with me. Her love for the frogs and her ability to learn about their care and needs so quickly has made her an expert in the field.
Several years later we are still growing and now are able to offer an even larger variety of these amazing frogs. We are now working with exporters from Peru, Panama and Suriname to bring you the best they have to offer.
